Award in Education and Training
This is an introductory teaching qualification that will prepare you to teach or train adults in adult and community learning, further education or the voluntary sector. It replaces the City and Guilds 6302 award in Preparing to Teach (PTLLS). It is equally suitable as an introduction for trainers in industry, commerce or HM forces.
There is no requirement to be in a teaching or training role as assessment is by observed microteaching and written assignments. It is for those with subject knowledge in a particular field but with little or no experience of teaching or training, and those considering teaching or training adults. Our courses are carefully designed to take into consideration your individual learning needs, educational and employment aspirations. Our tutors encourage independent learning and use communicative language-teaching techniques to help you achieve your learning goals.
