Improve your English and maths with Blended learning

Blended Learning

Blended Learning

A Fast, FREE*, Flexible Way to Learn!

Do you need a Level 2 maths or English qualification for your job?

We are delighted to be able to continue to offer ‘Blended Learning’, a new and flexible way to improve your English and/or maths skills.

This flexible learning method is personally tailored to support you to work on your individual skills gaps, using a combination of online learning and face-to-face meetings with a fully qualified tutor for those topics that need further explanation.

Blended Learning is perfect if you can’t commit to a class every week but like the idea of having a personal tutor to back up your online studies.

You will also be able to work towards a City and Guild’s Level 2 Functional Skills qualification to put on your CV.

A pre-course assessment is required and will take place for the next maths course starting in the autumn term. Pre-course assessments will take place on Thursday 27 September or Thursday 3 October at Quarrendon Adult Learning Centre, Aylesbury.

Courses are free to anyone who meets residency requirements and doesn’t already have an A*-C or 9-4 grade at GCSE.
