Are your English and maths skills holding you back?

Improving your skills in English, maths or ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) can help you to:

  • gain confidence
  • find a new job
  • get promotion at work
  • gain a qualification
  • help your children with their school work
  • gain citizenship or indefinite leave to remain

What are the courses like?

We have friendly tutors who work with small groups of students. We have part-time classes in local venues, in the daytime and the evening. You can join most classes at any time throughout the year and work towards a qualification.

How will I find a course that is right for me?

We work with learners of all levels of ability, from beginners (Pre-Entry) to Level 2 (GCSE). We ask our learners to come to see us for an informal assessment before starting a course. This helps us to make surethat the course is right for you.

What is ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)?

If your first language is not English, and you want to improve your English skills, you can join an ESOL class. In Entry Level ESOL classes, you can gain the speaking and listening certificate you need for citizenship or indefinite leave to remain.

How much will it cost?

Most maths and English courses are free if English is your first language (depending on UK residency) including GCSE. There is usually a fee for ESOL courses; however, you may be entitled to help with course fees if you receive certain means-tested benefits.

To find the right class for you, call us on: 01296 398957 (Aylesbury/Chilterns) or 01494 475975 (Wycombe/South Bucks) or 0845 045 4040.
